RINDGE, N.H. (April 12, 2022) -- Senior Megan Bacik (Huntington Station, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team has been selected as Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Bacik played every minute in net for the Ravens in a 2-0 week last week. Along the way, she made 20 saves against 31 shots on her goal, to post a .645 save percentage and a 5.50 goals-against average. Bacik made seven stops against 14 shots in a win against Saint Michael's on Tuesday, and then followed up with 13 saves against 17 shots in an upset win over No. 25 Saint Rose on Saturday.

On the season, Bacik has now made six appearances in the crease for Franklin Pierce, including four starts. Over 262:53 in net, she has made 48 saves against 90 shots to put together a .533 save percentage, a 9.59 goals-against average and a 3-1 record.

Bacik and the rest of the Ravens (3-7, 3-5 NE10) are on the road on Wednesday night, as they travel to Assumption for a 7 p.m. start in Worcester, Mass.
