Women’s Lacrosse’s Lauren Beville Selected to IWLCA North/South Senior All-Star Game

IWLCA North/South Senior All-Star Teams

RINDGE, N.H. (June 2, 2016) – Senior midfielder Lauren Beville (Jamesville, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team has been selected to participate in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's North/South Senior All-Star Game, as announced last week by the IWLCA. Beville will join 20 of her peers on the Division II North Team, which will square off against the Division II South Team.

The Division II contest is set to be the middle of three North/South All-Star Games scheduled for Saturday, June 4, at Edith Robb Dixon Field, on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. The two Division II All-Star squads will meet at 12:45 p.m., to be preceded by the Division I contest, at 11:30 a.m., and followed by the Division III contest, at 2 p.m. Admission to all three contests is free of charge.

Beville started in all 16 games of her senior campaign and finished tied for second on the team in scoring, with 49 points. She tallied 31 goals and 18 assists, with the 18 helpers ranking 17th in the Northeast-10 Conference, while going 8-for-19 on free-position shots along the way. Beville notched 30 ground balls, collected 32 draw controls, committed 40 turnovers against 13 caused turnovers and attempted 82 shots on the year, including 58 shots on goal.

As a team, the Ravens established a new program record for wins by finishing with an 8-8 record. The team's 5-8 record within the Northeast-10 was just one game in back of the final postseason qualifying position.
