AHCA Division I women's All-American Scholars

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (August 5, 2021) – The Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team has had 16 student-athletes named as All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association, as announced earlier this week by the AHCA.

The following Ravens earned All-American Scholar accolades: junior forward Jazmyne Beck (Kalispell, Mont.), sophomore forward Katelyn Brightbill (Annville, Pa.), sophomore forward Reece Diener (McKinney, Texas), freshman defender Lauren Donnellan (Hayward, Wis.), junior defender Kiki Doucette (Bridgewater, Mass.), senior defender Carolyn Drowne (Bridgewater, Mass.), junior forward Bridget Fagan (Millis, Mass.), sophomore forward Ava Kison (Eau Claire, Wis.), sophomore forward Becca Kniss (Eden Prairie, Minn.), senior forward Emily Kramer (Rockville, Md.), junior defender Catherine Lawrence (Guilford, Conn.), senior forward Marissa Massaro (Brockton, Mass.), junior goaltender Emme Ostrander (Westborough, Mass.), freshman defender Brooke Remington (Scandia, Minn.), sophomore defender Bethany Ross (Canton, Mich.) and freshman forward Jenna Ruiz (Webster, Wis.).

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have posted a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher during both semesters of the previous academic year. Normally, a student-athlete must have participated in at least 40% of their team's games, but this requirement was waived for 2020-21, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A total of 385 Division I women's ice hockey student-athletes were honored by the program. Franklin Pierce's 16 recipients ranked second in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance, trailing only Sacred Heart (20).
