Ruayruen Leads the Way as Ravens Compete at Pawley's Island Beach Bash

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. (3/13/25) - Franklin Pierce women's golf took to the tee box for the spring portion of their 2024-25 schedule. After two days at the Litchfield Country Club in Pawley's Island, South Carolina, the Ravens finished 5th out of nine teams, totaling 643 (+67).

Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand) turned in the best performance of the tournament, carding a 5-over par 77 to lead the Ravens. She posted a steady front-nine 38 and followed it up with a 39 on the back end to finish at +5.

Right behind her was Lorelai Flanagan (Alrington, Mass.), who also started strong with a 38 but tallied a 41 on the back nine to finish at 79 (+7) and would be in 16th overall.

Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) rounded out the top three for Franklin Pierce, shooting an 81 (+9) behind a consistent effort across both nines. She finished 25th overall. Tess Dietz (Flager Beach, Fla.) and Yiyou Chen (Shanghai, China) both finished at 82 (+10).

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will return to spring action from April 7-8th for the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester at the Penn Oaks Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
