Women's Golf: Ravens Win Back-to-Back Tournaments; Prukmathakul Secures 1st Place AGAIN

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (9/30/2023) – After finishing first place at the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on September 19th, the Ravens secured a back-to-back first place victory at the Saint Rose Invitational this past weekend. Franklin Pierce lit up the leaderboard after all six players made it in the top fifteen.

Leading the way again for the Ravens, was Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) who took first place individually after shooting a 73-75—148(+4). For Prukmathakul's this win marks her second first place finish this season after she won the team's opening tournament at the University of Hartford Fall Invitational on September 11th and 12th.

Just strokes behind Prukmathakul, were fellow Ravens Kayla Schuberth (Wrentham, Mass.) and Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand) who tied for second place, after they both shot a 153 (+9). Alia Godek (Feeding Hill, Mass.) finished tied for 6th place with a score of 83-78—161 (+17). Rounding out the Raven lineup at the top of the leaderboard, was Lorelai Flanagan (Arlington, Mass.) and Micaela Leandro, who shared 11th place after they both shot 167(+23).

NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Franklin Pierce University women's golf program will be back on the greens at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Massachusetts Saturday 7th and 8th for the Northeast-10 conference championships. The team will look to defend their four-year winning streak at the championships.
