Northeast-10 Conference Women's Golf Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (September 29, 2022) -- For the second straight week, the Franklin Pierce University women's golf team has swept the weekly Northeast-10 Conference awards, this time for the week ending on Sept. 25, as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league office. Sophomore Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand) is once again the NE10 Player of the Week, while freshman Lorelai Flanagan (Arlington, Mass.) is once again the NE10 Rookie of the Week.

The duo helped lead Franklin Pierce to its second straight tournament victory last weekend, as the Ravens won their home tournament, the Franklin Pierce Invitational, at Green Meadows Golf Club on Sunday and Monday. Ruayruen chalked up medalist honors for the second straight week, with a two-day line of 71-73--144 (+4). Meanwhile, Flanagan finished tied-13th, at 78-80--158 (+18).

It was a career-low 36-hole score for Ruayruen, who has a team-best stroke average of 74.83 through six rounds on the young season. Flanagan has been effectively playing as the team's number four, with a scoring average of 81.67 strokes, and posted her second-straight top-15 finish at the Franklin Pierce Invitational.

Ruayruen, Flanagan and the rest of the Ravens are off this weekend, and return to action in Guilderland, N.Y., on Oct. 7-8, for the Saint Rose Invitational.
