NEW LONDON, N.H. (September 30, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University women's golf freshman Jinnapat Rittawee (Kanchanaburi, Thailand) is all alone at the top of the individual leaderboard following the first round of the Penmen Fall Invitational hosted by Northeast-10 Conference opponent Southern New Hampshire University.

Rittawee's strong first round (76, +4) was impactful to the Ravens team score. Pierce fired a 318 (+30) to tie with the host Penmen for the top spot. Stonehill College rounds out the top three, trailing both programs by four strokes.

Freshman Alia Godek (Feeding Hills, Mass.) (79, +7) and sophomore Christine Songcuan (Lancaster, Calif.) (80, +8) contributed to the Raven scoring as they both produced top-10 scorecards. Godek is tied for fifth and Songcuan is knotted with three others golfers for eighth.

Seniors Taylor Hartley (Canton, Ga.) and Zoey Yamamoto (Honolulu, Hawaii) shot 83 (+11) to round out the team scoring. Freshman Micaela Leandro (Harlingen, Texas) made the trip as an individual and is currently tied for third overall (78, +6).
