Bowling announces home venue change for 2015-16 season

RINDGE, N.H. (March 24, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce bowling team and head coach Kim Berit have announced they are moving to a new home for the 2015-16 season. The team will now call Yankee Lanes in Keene, N.H. as their new home for the foreseeable future.

Yankee Lanes sports 24 lanes that “promotes better shot making, and puts a premium on accuracy and the athlete’s mental game.”

Head Coach Kim Berit said, “We are very excited to work with Yankee Lanes next season. They have been a big supporter of the program since we started and we are excited to make them our new home.”

The alley released a statement, saying they were, “pleased to welcome the Lady Ravens Bowling Team to our center for the upcoming season and beyond. Our commitment to the sport of bowling, and the wealth of knowledge by our dedicated staff and ownership, we know will help [the FPU] program grow and become increasingly successful.”

The Ravens bring with them a successful inaugural season which saw them finish with a record of 52-44 that included a tournament win at the Hawk Flight Invitational, their final tournament of the season that was hosted at Monmouth University.

The lanes added, “We are very excited to see this caliber of bowling coming to our center and embrace the opportunity to help further develop the sport which has been our passion for most of our lives…we are extremely excited that the Raven’s bowling team is calling Yankee Lanes their Home Center and look forward to the seasons ahead.”
