Gimenez Monserrat, Sirowich Each Garner NE10 All-Conference Recognition

MANSFIELD, Mass. (3/1/23) - A short time after their season closing loss in the conference quarterfinals, a pair of Franklin Pierce women's basketball players were named recipients of Northeast-10 postseason honors.

For their performances this past season, junior forward Ines Gimenez Monserrat (Mallorca, Spain) received NE10 All-Conference Second Team citation, while freshman guard Kenzie Sirowich (Seymour, Conn.) was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team.  Gimenez Monserrat has previously earned All-Rookie Team honors from the conference, and is receiving All-Conference recognition for the second time in her career.

Gimenez Monserrat is in her second full season with the Ravens, and was a four time recipient of NE10 Weekly Honor Roll recognition this season. As the Ravens' top point producer, Gimenez Monserrat started in all 29 of Franklin Pierce's games, and averaged 15.3 points, 4.9 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists. In total, the Raven junior scored 444 points on 174-of-421 (41.3%) success from the floor, and recorded double figures in all but six games this season, along with three double-double performances.

Fresh on the scene, it did not take long for Kenzie Sirowich to make a statement. As a starter in each of Pierce's 29 games this season, Sirowich led the team in average rebounds per contest with 6.3, additionally averaging 8.4 points, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Down the stretch, Sirowich ranked 2nd on the team with 244 total points scored, going 92-of-193 (47.7%) from the floor and 48-of-54 (88.9%) from the charity line. This season, she was also a one-time recipient of Weekly Honor Roll accolades from the Northeast-10 Conference.
