MANSFIELD, Mass. (12/12/22) – For the second time this season, freshman forward Sara Macary (Naugatuck, Conn.) was named the Northeast-10's women's basketball Rookie of the Week, per the official announcement on Monday afternoon by the league offices.

Macary served a key role in the Ravens 2-1 week, scoring 53 total points with an average of 17.7 points per game. As a starter in all three matchups, Macary shot 20-of-34 (58.8%) from the floor, along with a perfect 13-of-13 from the free throw line. On the defensive end, the Raven freshman also collected nine total rebounds, as well as three steals. Macary currently ranks second on the team in points per game average (10.3), and third in overall shooting percentage (45.7).

Women's basketball will hit the road for their final game of the 2022 half, coming up this Sunday, December 18^th at in-state, NE10 foe Southern New Hampshire beginning at 1:00 p.m.
