Bio
As a Freshman in 2015: Played in six games for the Ravens...Finished with six tackles (three solo), including one tackle for loss totaling one yard...Made his collegiate debut at Penn on 9/19...Recorded his first career tackle against Cornell on 9/26...Had a pair of tackles, both solo, against Army on 10/17...Recorded a tackle at Chestnut Hill on 10/23...Made two tackles (one solo) against Mansfield on 10/31.
Before Franklin Pierce: Varsity Football for three years. Voted for All-Copper League Team Defense Senior Year. Seymour Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year Award Winner Senior Year. Abate also participated in three years of varisty weight lifting, he earned first place in the under 160 weight class in power cleans and squats. He also ran track for Seymour and qualified for states in long jump, 4x200m, and 55m dash, and recieved All-NVL Sprinter.
