Women's Rowing Varsity-Four Boat Places Fourth at Lake Quinsigamond
Ravens finish fourth out of six teams
WORCESTER, Mass. (April 16, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team's varsity-four boat finished fourth out of six teams in a time of 8:45.1 in its race on Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond.
Bryant won the event in a time of 8:25.1, narrowly edging out second place Assumption, which recorded a time of 8:26.0.
The Franklin Pierce varsity-four boat included Jess Whittemore at the stroke, Leah Kaczanowicz (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) at the three, Hayley Brown (Newbury, Mass.) at the two, Natasha Pastor (Fitzwilliam, N.H.) at the bow and Erika Hebert (Leominster, Mass.) as the coxswain.
Franklin Pierce returns to action this Saturday when the Ravens compete in the UMass-Lowell race at 8 a.m.
