Rowing Teams Conclude 2010 Spring Season at Dad Vail Regatta this Past Weekend in Philadelphia
Both men's and women's teams just miss qualifying for finals in their respective events
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 11, 2010) -- The Franklin
Pierce University men's and women's rowing teams concluded their
2010 spring season this past weekend as they took part in the Dad
Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa.
The men's team competed in the varsity four-plus race and placed
third in a time of 6:44.848 in its heat, just missing qualifying
for the finals by 0.8 seconds. The team consisted of Brett
Dicrescenzo at stroke, Dan Forget at three, Pat Brosnan at two, Ian
Randall at bow and Zach Goodman at cox.
The women's team competed in the pair race and placed fifth in its
heat with a time of 8:48.229. The Ravens just missed qualifying for
the finals as well. Morgan Miller was at the bow, while Mairecait
Binienda was at the stroke.
