Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (October 26, 2022) -- For the second straight week, and the third time this fall, junior Wondu Summa (Burlington, Vt.) of the No. 28 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men's cross country team has been named as Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Summa posted his fourth straight individual meet victory on Friday, as his 5k time of 14:40 paced a 96-runner field and led the Ravens to a fifth-place finish, out of 12 teams, at the CCSU Mini-Meet, hosted by Central Connecticut State at Stanley Park.

Summa and the rest of the Ravens are idle this weekend and back in action on Sunday, Nov. 6, in Colchester, Vt., for the NE10 Championship.
