Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field’s Fenoff Earns Academic All-America Honors from CoSIDA

GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 24, 2020) – Sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field program has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, as announced on Wednesday by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).

Cross Country/Track & Field Sees Three Earn Academic All-District Honors from CoSIDA

GREENWOOD, Ind. (May 29, 2020) – The Franklin Pierce University cross country and track & field program has had three student-athletes named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced on Friday by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). Junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) and sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) were honored on the men’s side, while sophomore Paola Brena (Queretaro, Mexico) earned the accolade on the women’s side. As a result of their selections, all three will also advance to the Academic All-America ballot.

Six Ravens Earn Spots on NE10 Academic All-Conference Teams

MANSFIELD, Mass. (February 4, 2020) – Franklin Pierce University has had six student-athletes earn Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the fall season, as announced on Monday by the Conference office. Junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) and sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the men’s cross country team, senior midfielder Niklas Laudahn (Olfen, Germany) and junior forward Yannik Felber (Vallendar, Germany) of the men’s soccer team, senior back Jessica Strassburg (Longmeadow, Mass.) of the field hockey team, and senior forward Veronica Marques (Sao Paulo, Brazil), were all honored by the league. The selected Ravens were among 89 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the NE10.

Cross Country Programs Combine to Boast Nine USTFCCCA All-Academic Selections

NEW ORLEANS (January 30, 2020) – A total of nine members of the Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s cross country teams have earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, as announced Thursday by the USTFCCCA. In addition, both the men’s and women’s cross country programs have been honored at the team level by the USTFCCCA All-Academic program.

NEW ORLEANS (November 14, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country program has had four runners earn All-East Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, as formally announced on Monday. Junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France), sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.), graduate student William Rawson (Atherton, England) and senior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) were all honored for their work at last weekend’s NCAA Championship East Regional.

Four All-Region Finishers Lead Men’s Cross Country to Fourth at NCAA East Regional

PHILADELPHIA (November 9, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team put together one of the strongest outings in program history on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Jefferson. The Ravens had four runners earn All-East Region honors by finishing in the top 25, which was somehow still not enough to earn the team an automatic bid to the national championship race later this month. Franklin Pierce collected only 97 points, which was good for a strong fourth-place finish, but was also 15 points behind Stonehill for the final automatic qualifying spot.

PREVIEW: Cross Country Heads to Philadelphia for NCAA East Regional

RINDGE, N.H. (November 8, 2019) – The cross country season reaches its crescendo on Saturday, as the Franklin Pierce University cross country program heads to the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia for the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Thomas Jefferson University. The 6k women’s race is set for a noon start, with the men’s 10k race to follow at 1:15 p.m.

(November 7, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s cross country combined to boast four All-Northeast-10 Conference selections, as officially recognized on Thursday afternoon by the league office. For the men, junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) landed on the First Team, while sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) and senior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) placed on the Second Team. For the women, junior Marissa Farago (Salisbury, Mass.) landed on the Third Team.

The Ravens had three runners earn All-Conference honors on the way to a fourth-place finish, out of 14 teams.

MONTREAL (October 12, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team had an intense meet on Saturday, as the Ravens competed internationally over an 8k course at the Interlock Invitational. They took fifth out of 15 teams in a meet which included some of Canada’s toughest competition.

HOPKINTON, N.H. (September 28, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team took control of its own home meet on Saturday, as the Ravens made sure the trophy from the seventh annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup did not travel far. Franklin Pierce left the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds with the hardware in tow after putting four runners in the top five of the 75-runner field, led by sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) in second place.

This time, for the week ending on Sept. 22, sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) earned the honor, as announced on Tuesday by the Conference office.

Men’s Cross Country Fourth at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (September 21, 2019) -- Sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) was the first member of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team to cross the line on Saturday, as the Ravens competed at the UMass Dartmouth invitational. Arlabosse had a top-five finish, as he took fourth overall in the 257-person running field. He had a time of 25:10 for the five-mile race. Just outside of the top five was sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.), who took sixth and finished with a time of 25:27.

MANSFIELD, Mass. (September 17, 2019) -- Fresh off his race win on Saturday, sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University cross country team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on 9/15, as announced on Tuesday by the league office. In addition, freshman Nadia Cathcart (Hyde Park, N.Y.) has been named NE10 Rookie of the Week.

Fenoff Takes Title; Men’s Cross Country Takes Second at UNE Invitational

BIDDEFORD, Maine (September 14, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team competed at the UNE Invitational, hosted by the University of New England, on Saturday morning. Sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) was the first to cross the finish line out of the 131 runners in the race to pick up his second career race win. His winning 8k time was 25:07. Just behind Fenoff was Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France), a junior who took second place after his 25:12 finishing time. It all added up to a second-place finish for the Ravens, out of 11 teams at the meet.

Men’s Cross Country Takes Third at Trinity Invitational

MANCHESTER, Conn. (September 7, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce men’s cross country team finished third out of eight teams at the Trinity Bantam Invitational on Saturday, held at Wickham Park. Leading the way for the Ravens was top-three finisher, sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.), who took third place out of 86 runners, with a time of 16:13.
