RINDGE, N.H. (June 9, 2015) -- The Franklin Pierce University rowing team has announced its four newest recruits on Tuesday afternoon. Joining the Ravens this fall will be Kyra Fairley, Marykate Cullinane, Mackenzie Hitch and Julia Canova.

RINDGE, N.H. (February 11, 2015) – Freshman Natalie Davies (Ware, Mass.), junior Shannon Lozier (Merrimac, Mass.) and junior Doria Brown (Little Falls, N.J.) of the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team, as well as sophomores Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) and Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) of the men’s team, have all earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, as announced on Wednesday by the USTFCCCA. In addition, both the men’s and women’s cross country programs have been honored at the team level by the USTFCCCA All-Academic program.

NASHUA, N.H. (November 22, 2014) – After surprising the East Region a year ago and qualifying for the final round of the NCAA Championships, the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team was left on the outside looking in on Saturday afternoon, as it finished fourth at the NCAA Championship East Regional, co-hosted by Franklin Pierce and Merrimack at Mines Falls Park Trail. American International, which claimed the Northeast-10 Conference crown two weeks ago, captured the East Region title.

RINDGE, N.H. (November 9, 2014) – Sophomore Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) finished 17th with an 8k time of 28:50 on Sunday morning to lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Franklin Pierce. The Ravens finished with 124 points in the 15-team field.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (October 24, 2014) – Sophomore B.J. Smith (Concord, N.H.) ran a 5K time of 15:09.05 on Friday afternoon to finish fourth -- tops among Division II student-athletes -- and lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at Stanley Park in the CCSU Mini Meet. As a team, the Ravens finished with 115 points, which was good for fourth in the 19-team meet.

(October 18, 2014) – Sophomore Joey Souza (West Bridgewater, Mass.) ran an 8K time of 31:10.0 on Saturday afternoon to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the Gates Farm Northeast-10 Preview Meet, which was hosted by the Ravens. Franklin Pierce finished with 86 points and placed third of five teams at the meet.

BOSTON (October 1, 2014) – Senior Antoine Gisore (Concord, N.H.) ran an 8K time of 24:51.9 to finish 12th and earn All-New England honors on Saturday for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the NEICAAA Championships in Franklin Park. The Ravens finished with 354 points and placed 14th out of 29 teams at the meet and were the top finisher among Division II squads.

(October 4, 2014) – Senior Antoine Gisore (Concord, N.H.) stopped the clock at 24:50 for his 8K run on Saturday, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the Paul Short Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Lehigh. The Ravens finished with 833 points to place 33rd in their 42-team meet.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. (September 20, 2014) – Sophomore B.J. Smith (Concord, N.H.) ran a five-mile time of 24:48.30 to take first place on Saturday and lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team, which placed five runners in the top 23 finishers at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. The quintet of strong performances led the Ravens (50 points) to a blowout victory at the 34-team meet.

Smith (Concord, N.H.) and senior Antoine Gisore (Concord, N.H.) each finished in the top 10 on Saturday morning to lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team in the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup, its first of three on-campus meets this fall. Franklin Pierce finished as runner-up in the nine-team meet.
