MANSFIELD, MASS. (5/21/2024) – The Northeast-10 Conference announced its post-season top awards for Track and Field Thursday afternoon and Franklin Pierce University star runner Stephen Harris was named Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. As the track and field seasons are split between indoor and outdoor, the award marks the second of the year for Harris as he was named Indoor Track Athlete of the Year following the conclusion of the indoor season.

During the 2024 spring, Harris tallied some serious hardware capped by a standout performance at the Northeast-10 Championships which included gold medal finishes in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and the 4x100m relay. With four medals around his neck, he was then named the NE10 Men's Most Valuable Athlete and the NE10 Track Most Outstanding Performer.

Following the big weekend at the NE10s, Harris stayed hot with a first-place finish at the NEICCAAA Championships, successfully punching his ticket back to the Division II National Championships in Emporia, Kansas on May 24th and 25th.
