Release by Director of Athletic Communications Luke Tracy

RINDGE, N.H. (2/27/24) -- The NCAA released its official selections for the 2023-24 Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships Tuesday evening and junior runner Stephen Harris (Billerica, Mass.) made the list. Harris has put together a list of school and conference records along top finishes this season, most recently at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships where he won the 60m dash, 200m dash, and the high jump. Harris joined fellow Raven Wondu Summa (Burlington, Vt.) as the Men's Co-Most Valuable Athletes of the Championships.

Heading South on March 8th and 9th at Pittsburgh State in Kansas, Harris will be the 59th Raven selected to compete at the NCAA Championships from the Franklin Pierce Cross Country/Track & Field program since 2014. He will be the first male from a sprinting event to be selected for a national championship and just the second Raven to ever go into a national championship with a number one ranking (Dage Minors - 2017 - 800m). CeCe Telfer competed in the women's 200m dash in 2019, also at Pittsburgh State and earned All-American Honors in the process.

The National Championships will be held on March 8th and 9th at Pittsburgh State's Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. The preliminary 200m dash will be at 6:15 EST on Friday March, 8th. The top 8 fastest times from the preliminary heats will qualify for the 200m dash final on March 9th at 7:45 PM. Top-12 finishers receive All-American honors in the event. Top-8 receive a podium trophy from the NCAA.
