Riley Fenoff Bestowed with Prestigious NE10 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honor

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (6/5/23) – On Sunday evening, the Northeast-10 Conference celebrated the end of the 2022-23 athlete and academic calendar by revealing its major award winners, announcing Franklin Pierce cross country and track & field senior Riley Fenoff as the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Fenoff, who was an NE10 Man of the Year finalist in 2022, is a first-time recipient of the conference's prestigious honor, and joins previous winners Carlos Ferrando Felis (2021-22) and Bryan Duplissie (2005-06) as the third student-athlete in Franklin Pierce University history to do so.

Per the Northeast-10, "Eligibility for nomination requires that a student-athlete must be in their final year of athletic eligibility, graduating with a degree in May (unless in a master's program), must be enrolled in a full-time course load and must have a minimum final cumulative grade point average of 3.30. A committee made up of faculty members and athletic administrators conducts voting for the awards."

Fenoff has served as a five-year captain of both the Pierce cross country and track & field programs, and adds the and is a four-time winner of the Northeast-10's Elite 24 Award for outstanding academic achievement. Along with that, he has been named to the Academic All-Conference team on two separate occasions, is multi-time CSC (CoSIDA) Academic All-America honoree, and is a six-time selection to the NE10 Academic All-Conference team in cross country and track & field.
