Ravens thank Northeast Delta Dental for their charitable efforts

RINDGE, N.H. (July 3, 2013) – Franklin Pierce University track & field/cross country head coach Zach Emerson announced on Wednesday that Northeast Delta Dental has become the official sponsor of the Inaugural Pearly Pond 5k Run, slated for Sunday, Aug. 25, on the Rindge campus.

“The Ravens track & field and cross country programs would like to thank Northeast Delta Dental for its support of our inaugural 5k race,” Emerson said. “This shows the tremendous amount of respect that Northeast Delta Dental has for the event and goals of our program. Franklin Pierce looks forward to putting on this race and hopes that all the competitors will enjoy an exhilarating run and competition that day.”

The event, which is a fundraiser for the track & field/cross country programs, will begin at 10:30 a.m., and is opened to all running enthusiasts who are looking to have a good time and enjoy a refreshing run through the Franklin Pierce campus and along the shores of Pearly Pond. There will be five different age groups for each gender, ranging from boys to men and girls to women. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each group.
