Adelphi scored early by winning the early doubles point. At the No. 1 position, Adelphi's Marko Jovanovic and Gabriel Balestero defeated Pierce's Preston Gordon (Essex Junction, Vt.) and Joshua Arnold (Scarborough, Trinidad & Tobago) 6-3. Shortly thereafter, the same result would manifest at No. 2 doubles, with Thomas Horsley and Thiago Negrao earning the victory over Nkrumah Patrick (Tunapuna, Trinidad & Tobago) and Joé Herin (Tias, Spain). The Panthers locked in the doubles point with a victory on court three where Reece Farrow and Viktor Hockl defeated Alejandro Ortiz (Madrid, Spain) and Paul McLellan (Nairobi, Kenya) 6-1.

Despite falling in all six singles matchups, two Ravens were able to push their opponents to decisive third sets.
