The Ravens only point on the day was a singles victory for graduate Felipe Carvalho (Sao Paulo, Brazil). It only took two sets for Carvalho to claim the victory, winning both in decisive fashion at 6-2 for the first set, and 6-3 for the second.

Four out of six singles matches found themselves in third sets. In the third set of the match, Arakaki took the victory with a 6-2 win.

Quinnipiac took the remaining singles matches, but the second and third sets of fourth singles were a close fought battle. Similar to #1 singles, graduate student Kevin Denecheau (Artigueloutan, France) lost 6-0 in the opening set. However, the second set went to extras, with Denecheau tying it up with a close 7-6 victory. His opponent from Quinnipiac, Alester Magalit, aimed for the win in the final set, but it was a narrow victory, claiming a 6-4 win over Denecheau.
