Brewer Brothers Named to Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll
Duo posted singles and doubles wins Sunday against Regis

Ben Brewer and his younger brother Chris were both named to the
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.RINDGE, N.H. (September 21, 2011) – Senior Ben Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) and his younger brother, freshman Chris Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team were both named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sept. 18, as announced Tuesday by the Conference office.
Ben Brewer led the Ravens at both first doubles and first singles, dropping only seven total games on the afternoon while leading the team to its 8-1, season-opening win over Regis (Mass.) on Sunday. In doubles play, he teamed with Pat Gilhuly to post an 8-3 win at first doubles before notching a 6-0, 6-4 win at first singles.
Meanwhile, at second doubles and third singles, Chris Brewer proved even more dominant, dropping only three games on the afternoon. He paired with Sam Aubin for an 8-2 win at second doubles before steamrolling to a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles.
The Ravens return to the court on Sunday, Sept. 25, when they travel to Stonehill for a Northeast-10 Conference match at 2 p.m. in Easton, Mass. Franklin Pierce next plays at home on Sunday, Oct. 9, against Saint Michael's at 1 p.m.
