KUTZTOWN, Pa. (May 2, 2003) - The Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team, ranked No. 6 in the East Region, dropped a 5-0 decision to Kutztown University, ranked No. 2 in the East Region, in the first round of the NCAA Division II men's tennis East Regional in Kutztown, Pa. this afternoon.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 29, 2003) - Six members of the Franklin Pierce men's tennis team earned All-Northeast-10 Conference honors as voted by the Conference coaches. The Conference office made the announcement of the All-Northeast-10 honorees Monday afternoon.

WORCESTER, MASS. (April 27, 2003) - The Franklin Pierce men's tennis team, ranked sixth in the East Region, fell to top-seed Assumption College, ranked third in the East region, at the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament finals this afternoon. The Conference title is Assumption's sixth-straight.

(April 25, 2003) - The Franklin Pierce men's tennis team, ranked No. 6 in the East region claimed its third straight Northeast-10 Conference playoff bid as the #3 seed in this weekend's Conference tournament. The Ravens will face sixth-seeded Stonehill tomorrow at the East Hartford Racquet Club in East Hartford, Conn. at 10 a.m. The team earns its third consecutive trip to the Northeast-10 Conference tournament since joining the Conference in 2000.

Senior Art Shannon (Danvers, Mass./Danvers) was named the Northeast-10 Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, while freshman Courtney Boardman (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) was tabbed the NE-10 Freshman of the Week for women’s lacrosse.
