RINDGE, N.H. (12/10/24) – Franklin Pierce University men's soccer players Tiago Barriguinha and Antonio Lima have been named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team for their outstanding performances this season. 

Sophomore midfielder Tiago Barriguinha (Alverca, Portugal) was instrumental in the Ravens' midfield. Starting all 20 matches, Barriguinha recorded four goals and seven assists, accumulating 15 points.  Barriguinha also tallied three game-winning goals.  

Junior forward Antonio Lima (Lisbon, Portugal) had a stellar season as one of the team's primary offensive threats. Lima led the Ravens with seven goals and five assists for a total of 19 points in 19 matches (16 starts). Lima also notched five game-winning goals, cementing his status as one of the most impactful forwards in the East Region. 

Both players played pivotal roles in Franklin Pierce University's strong 2024 campaign, helping the team reach the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA DII Men's Soccer Championship.
