NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. (12/7/22) – In a huge announcement for the National Champion Franklin Pierce men's soccer, sophomore forward Braudilio Rodrigues (Lisbon, Portugal) was selected as an invitees for the upcoming adidas MLS College Showcase, which will take place from December 9^th through the 12^th in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Rodrigues joins 43 other invitees at the four-day event, will also run in conjunction with the 2022 NCAA Men's College Cup. Each day will feature professional staff and scouts from all 28 current MLS clubs, who will be observing the talents of the top collegiate prospects in the nation, including players with remaining NCAA eligibility.

Following the event, the official list of all eligible players for the adidas 2023 MLS SuperDraft will be announced.

Rodrigues completed this season as one of the top DII forward performers in the nation, totaling 20 goals and 22 assists for a top-ranked 62 points. From a conference standpoint, Rodrigues led the Northeast-10 in all offensive categories, and was a constant threat on the field to the opposition on a nightly basis. For his efforts, Rodrigues and men's soccer powered their way through the conference and NCAA tournament, claiming their first national title since 2007. With awards continuing to pile in, Rodrigues was named the NE10 conference's Player of the Year, as well as the DII Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) East Region and Rob Lenz National Player of the Year.
