Men’s Soccer Ranks Fourth in Nation Following Week 1 Poll

RINDGE, N.H.  (March 12, 2021) – The Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team received their highest national ranking since the 2011 season when they were ranked second as the Crimson and Gray came in at fourth in the first edition of the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II National Rankings it was announced Tuesday by the organization.

Even after the time off, head coach Ruben Resendes' team climbed three slots from seventh to fourth since their 15-4-2, 10-2 Northeast-10 2019 season and an NCAA Regional Championship game appearance.

The Ravens are the only NE10 program to rank within the poll top-10. Adelphi University, who FPU dispatched 4-1 on November 2, 2019 was ranked 12th by the United Soccer Coaches.
