RINDGE, N.H. (5/19/23) – With the formal announcement on Friday morning, two members of the Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse program have garnered All-New England accolades from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA).

Individual players from across all three NCAA divisions in New England are nominated by their coaches, who then vote for winners within their own respective divisions. This season, senior midfielder Sean Daly (Kingston, Mass.) and senior defender Eric Bua Jr. (Revere, Mass.) were both tabbed to the All-New England Second Team for their respective positions.

Daly appeared in each of the Ravens' 14 games in 2023, during which time he compiled a stat line of 22 goals, 18 assists, 12 ground balls and three caused turnovers. His 40 points on the season was good for the team lead, and was also a new single-season best for the senior by a landslide (previous best -27). Of his 18 goals scored, 6 came a man-up, which was also a team best this season.

Bua, who was the program's only selection to the Northeast-10's All-Conference Third Team, played an integral part in the Raven defensive game, finishing with the team lead in both ground balls (72) and caused turnovers (22). Also, as a starter in all 14 games for Pierce, the Raven senior occasionally pitched in on the offensive front with 11 goals with three assists for 14 points. Additionally, Bua chipped in as a faceoff man, and completed the 2023 campaign with a 30-for-94 mark.

Both Bua and Daly are the first players in the program to earn NEILA All-New England honors since Kyle Fortier and Josh Dorr did so in the 2020-21 season.
