Men's Lacrosse Earns First Ever NCAA Regional Ranking

RINDGE, N.H. (April 15, 2015)
– For the first time ever, the Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse team has received an NCAA Regional Ranking.

Regional rankings are put together by the Regional Advisory Committee and ultimately determine which teams qualify for the NCAA Championship. This is the first of three weekly regional rankings, prior to the final NCAA selections. Four teams from the North Region will qualify for the NCAA Championship.

With a record of 10-2, and a Northeast-10 record of 7-2, Franklin Pierce currently ranks sixth in the North Region. Le Moyne ranks first place with a 10-0 in-region record and 11-1 overall, followed by Merrimack in second (9-1, 9-1), Adelphi in third (9-2, 9-2), LIU Post in fourth (7-2, 10-2), NYIT in fifth (8-2, 9-2).

The Ravens return to Sodexo Field on Saturday to host Saint Anselm at 12:00 p.m. in Northeast-10 Conference play.
