Second time this season Kelley has been honored by NEILA

RINDGE, N.H. (May 28, 2014) – Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse standout Cody Kelley (Manchester, N.H.) has been invited, and will participate in this Friday’s 2014 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star Game. The contest will be held at 5 p.m. at Stagg Field on the Springfield College campus in Springfield, Mass.

The senior defender will play for the East team, and will represent the Franklin Pierce program one final time for his impressive career.

Kelley was a standout on the field and in the classroom during his four-year career for the Ravens, including being named Franklin Pierce’s 2014 Richard Burns Senior Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in early May. Kelley was also been recognized by NEILA earlier this season, as he was named to the association’s Senior Scholar Academic All-Region Team earlier this month.

A two-time captain, Kelley helped to anchor one of the steadiest defensive units in the Northeast-10 Conference in 2014. The Ravens led the NE-10 in team save percentage (60.1%) and yielded just 116 goals, which was the second lowest total in the league. The team’s 175 saves were the fourth highest total in the conference.
