Pezanowski Named Head Mens Lacrosse Coach

RINDGE, N.H. (August 4, 2006) Franklin Pierce has named Kevin Pezanowski head mens lacrosse coach at the College. The announcement was made today by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at Franklin Pierce, and confirmed by President Dr. George J. Hagerty.
Franklin Pierce Posts Second Straight Victory Over Green Mountain, 22-1

(April 26, 2006) The Franklin Pierce Mens Lacrosse team earned its second victory of the season, defeating Green Mountain College 22-1 in non-conference season ending action this afternoon at Sodexho Field. The Ravens recorded 16 first half goals and added six scores in the second half to clinch their second straight victory.

(April 17, 2006) The Franklin Pierce Mens Lacrosse team suffered a tough 21-4 loss to Le Moyne College, ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division II LaxPower Poll, in Northeast-10 Conference action this evening at Sodexho Field. The Dolphins posted an early 9-2 lead in the first half and registered seven unanswered goals in the final quarter to earn their eleventh victory of the season.

The Setters outscored the Ravens 8-4 in the first half, before posting six more goals in the second frame to earn their fourth victory of the season.

The Hawks held the Ravens to just two goals in the first half while notching nine goals in the second frame to earn their third victory of the season.

Penmen juniors Jon Habel (Hingham, Mass./Hingham) and Joe Young (Derry, N.H./Pinkerton Academy), as well as sophomore John Delanoy (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) all contributed a game-high five points, on three goals and two assists each.

WALTHAM, MASS. (March 30, 2006) The Franklin Pierce mens lacrosse suffered a tough 15-6 setback to Bentley College in Northeast-10 Conference action this evening at Bentley College. Falcon sophomore Dan Scavone (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) led all scorers with a game high five points, on four goals and one assist. Franklin Pierce sophomore Luke Ferreira (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) followed as he registered a hat-trick for the Ravens.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 8, 2006) The Franklin Pierce mens lacrosse team fell 21-4 to Keene State College in season-opening non-conference action today at Sodexho Field. The Owls outscored the Ravens 13-1 in the first half and never looked back as Keene State won its second straight game.

(March 8, 2006) The Franklin Pierce mens lacrosse team fell 20-2 to Merrimack College, ranked No. 9 in this weeks NCAA Division II LaxPower rankings, in Northeast-10 Conference action this evening at Warrior Field. Warrior freshman Greg Rogowski (Cohoes, N.Y.) led all scorers as he recorded 15 points, on nine goals and six assists.
