Bentley Blanks Franklin Pierce, 18-0

WALTHAM, MASS. (March 31, 2004) - The Franklin Pierce men's lacrosse team suffered an 18-0 loss to Bentley College in Northeast-10 Conference action this evening.

Senior attack Adam Dilly (Mendham, N.J./Trinity Pawling School) registered three goals to lead the eleven Falcons scorers. Two of Dilly's goals came in Bentley's six-goal second quarter to break the game open.       

Senior Matt Kowalchick (Boca Raton, Fla./Avon Old Farms), freshman Kyle Radley (Needham/Needham) and sophomores Jeff Smrecek (West Springfield/West Springfield) and Clint Hewitt (Wilbraham/Minnechaug Regional) notched two goals apiece.

Sophomore goaltender Ben Lek (Gaitherburg, Md./ Col. Zadok Magruder) faced 50 shots and made 14 saves for the Ravens and Chris White (Billerica/Billerica) made four saves for Bentley in the victory.

The Ravens (0-4, 0-2 NE-10) next travel to Dominican College on Saturday for a non-conference game at 2 p.m. The Falcons (4-1, 2-1 NE-10) take the road on Saturday to face Adelphi.
