Bio

Evan Marek enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team in 2018-19.

Rindge marks the first collegiate coaching stop for Marek, who transitions to the bench after a four-year career on the ice with the Ravens (bio). Over his four years as a student-athlete, Marek donned the crimson and grey for 92 career games, which was tied for ninth in program history when he graduated. He tallied 20 points along the way, on eight goals and 12 assists. Marek tallied six points apiece in his freshman, junior and senior campaigns, which included a career-high four goals during his junior season. In the classroom, he was selected to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for each of his eight semesters as an undergraduate.

Originally from Enfield, Connecticut, Marek is a 2018 graduate of Franklin Pierce, with a degree in sports and recreation management.
