HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Penman got it started early with a one-on-one shot from Jack Gray who slotted it through the five-hole giving the Penman an early 1-0 lead.

  • Jack Gray would strike again scoring on another one-on-one versus McDonald and thread it past him making it 3-0.

  • Mere seconds after the Ravens got their first Kurt Watson yet again broke through on a one-on-one and bested McDonald for the Penman fourth goal of the game.

  • Nine minutes later, Todd Branish (Littleton, Colo.) from behind the net slotted it to Devin Rohrich (Pittsburg, PA) and easily passed it into the net for the Ravens second and final goal of the game.

  • Then 33 seconds into the third period, Matt Amante shot it with bodies in front and got it past new Raven goalie Jeremy Connor (Hazlet, NJ) making it 5-1.

  • Then with under two minutes remaining in the third, Connor Ball shot it from center ice on the empty net scoring the game sealer 6-2.
