MANSFIELD, Mass. (2/13/23) – Following a 1-1-1 week for Franklin Pierce men's hockey, junior forward Cody Rumsey (York, Pa.) was selected as the conference's Player of the Week, per the official announcement by the league offices.

For Rumsey, it is his second time receiving Player of the Week honors from the Northeast-10, and the third time receiving a weekly award in total. This season, he is the fourth Raven on men's hockey to receive weekly recognition.

Over the past week, Rumsey led the team with one goal and four assists for five total points (1-4-5), establishing a three-game point streak in the process. In addition to his point totals, Rumsey also contributed 10 total shots, as well as a +2 rating. Rumsey currently ranks fourth on the team in total points (5-16-21).

Men's hockey will host conference leading, in-state rival Saint Anselm College for a weekend series this coming Friday (2/17) and Saturday (2/18) to close out their regular season, with both games scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. faceoff.
