Northeast-10 Conference Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (January 26, 2022) -- Following his standout performance on Saturday evening, junior Conor Foley (Nahant, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on Jan. 23, as announced on Monday by the league office.

Foley piled up four goals, including the game-winner, in Saturday’s wild, 7-5 win on the road at Southern New Hampshire. The Bay State native chalked up eight shots and was +2, while scoring twice on the power play, including an empty-netter to ice things late. It was just the second four-goal performance in program history for the Ravens, as Foley joined Michael Carr, who scored four times on Feb. 5, 2013 against Saint Michael’s.

The Ravens (5-10-0, 2-5-0 NE10) are scheduled for a home-and-home NE10 series with Stonehill this weekend. Franklin Pierce will travel to Stonehill on Friday for a 7 p.m. faceoff and host the Skyhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, weather permitting.
