Dallaire Dallaire has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week.

RINDGE, N.H. (February 21, 2011) – Sophomore forward Adam Dallaire (Waltham, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on Feb. 20, as announced Monday by the conference office. In addition, senior goaltender Matt McCarthy (Natick, Mass.) has been named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.

Dallaire led the Ravens offensively with four goals in a 2-0-0 week. He scored one goal in Wednesday night's win at Assumption before netting three goals, including the game-winner, in a Saturday win at Stonehill to record his first career hat trick.

On the season, Dallaire has played in 20 of Franklin Pierce's 25 games and totaled 12 points on 10 goals and two assists. He is one of only two Ravens to hit double digits in goals on the season. Five of Dallaire's goals have come on the power play, while two have been game-winners. He has been whistled for seven penalties totaling 25 minutes.

McCarthy made his first start of the season on Wednesday night at Assumption and did not disappoint, as he stopped 47 shots to earn his first win since Dec. 1, 2007.

It was McCarthy's second appearance of the season and he has stopped 49 of the 53 shots sent his way to record a .925 save percentage and a 3.77 goals-against average.

The Ravens return to the ice on Saturday, Feb. 26 in the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Championship. Franklin Pierce is the third seed and will host the sixth seed, either Southern New Hampshire or Stonehill, at 7 p.m. at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.
