Bio
2007-08: ECAC Northeast Conference All-Academic Team honoree. Appeared in 24 of the team's 25 games in his senior season. Set new career highs with four goals and five assists for nine points. Scored his first goal of the year only 1:14 into the first period in a win over Worcester State (11/12). Also notched individual tallies against Saint Anselm (1/9) and Western New England (1/16). Recorded his second career multi-point game with a goal and an assist in a win over Assumption (2/2).
2006-07: One of three Ravens to skate in all 24
games this season. Scored two goals and added an assist for three
points. Scored his first goal of the season against Worcester State
(11/13).
2005-06: Did not
play.
2004-05: Played in 22 games. Recorded six points on two
goals and four assists. Netted one game-winning goal. Committed
three penalties for six minutes. Scored his first collegiate goal
in a win against Suffolk (12/1).
Before Franklin Pierce:
Attended Asnuntuck Community College from 2003 to 2004 after
graduating from Enfield (Conn.) High School in 2003. Played for the
New England Junior Coyotes.
Personal: Born July 2, 1985, in Denville, N.J. Son of Andrew and Carol Strayer of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Has one sister, Jen (18). Majoring in mass communication. Also a member of the Franklin Pierce men's tennis team.
