Bio
2007-08: Appeared in 23 games in his first season at Franklin Pierce. Finished second among Raven freshmen with four goals and four assists for eight points. Recorded his first point with an assist on Joe Fields' first goal against Johnson & Wales (11/18). Notched his first career goal at Saint Michael's (12/8). Had his first multi-point game with a goal and an assist against Saint Anselm (1/9), then scored again the next time out against Southern New Hampshire (1/12); his three-point week earned him NE-10 and ECAC Northeast Freshman of the Week honors for the first time (1/14).

graduate of the New Hampton School after graduating from Barnstable
High School. Played hockey, soccer and tennis in high school.
Played hockey for the last five seasons, and served as assistant
captain at New Hampton School.
Personal: Born Nov. 12, 1987, in Hyannis, Mass. Son of
Jim and Kristen Spalt of Barnstable, Mass. Has six siblings: James
(21), Andrew (17), George (15), Carly (13), Edward (12) and
Caroline (10). Supports the New England Patriots, with his favorite
athlete being Randy Moss. His greatest sports moment was winning
the Lakes Region Championship in soccer. Undecided on academic
major.
