2007-08: Made a team-high 11 appearances and 10 starts in his first season with the Ravens. Posted a team-best 3-6-0 record, with a 4.46 goals against average and an .847 save percentage. Made his first collegiate start against Curry (11/7), turning away 28 shots. Earned his first career win by making 27 saves against Worcester State (11/12). Stopped 28 of 29 shots to earn the victory in a 5-1 win over Minnesota-Crookston (12/28), then earned his second straight win with a 23-save effort in a 4-3 overtime decision over Becker (1/4). Turned back a season-high 30 shots in an overtime loss to Salve Regina (1/19). Named NE-10 Freshman of the Week on one occasion (1/22).
Before Franklin Pierce: 2004
graduate of Churchville-Chili High School. After high school,
played two seasons with the Springfield Jr. Pics. Won over 40 games
and two league championships, and was a 2006 league All-Star
selection.
Personal: Born May 11, 1986, in Rochester, N.Y. Son of
Dan and Barb Rossignolo of Rochester, N.Y. Has two brothers, Ben
(19) and Chris (17). Ben plays lacrosse at Alfred State. His
favorite sports team is the Buffalo Sabres. His greatest sports
moment was getting his first career shutout. Undecided on academic
major. Also a member of the Ravens baseball team.
