Ravens tie program record with fifth win of season

WORCESTER, Mass. (Jan. 26, 2005) - The Franklin Pierce ice hockey team earned a 6-3 win over Worcester State College in ECAC Northeast competition tonight in Worcester, Mass. With the win, the Ravens equaled last season's program record of five wins in a season.

Junior tri-captain Mark Gibbons (Quincy, Mass./Archbishop Williams) totaled a game-high three points on a goal and two assists, while sophomore Jameson Wheatley (Scarboro, Maine/Portland Jr. Pirates) netted the game-winning goal and added an assist for the visitors.
