Men's Golf Competes at Saint Anselm Florida Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (3/25/25) - The Franklin Pierce men's golf team traveled to Florida for the Saint Anselm Florida Invitational. After two days at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Orlando, the Franklin Pierce men's golf team finished fourth out of seven teams. The team finished with a total team score of 602 (+26) after two rounds.
Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) finished as Franklin Pierce's top performer and 6th overall, carding a 146 (+2) for the tournament, including a 71 (-1) in Round One.
Jack Paterson (Franklin, Mass.) had a strong showing as an individual, finishing in 12th overall and with a +5 rating (73-76).
Albert Jooyoung Kim (Castro Valley, Calif.) finished at +6 (150) after an even-par first round and finished 18th amongst the final standings.
Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.) and Matt Weed (Marblehead, Mass.) tied for 20th overall with a +8 to close out the top 25 finishers of the Invitational. Wurszt ended +8 (77-75). Weed, as an individual shot 75 on day one and 77 on day two.
The Ravens are back in action early next week when they go to the Charger Challenge, hosted by Dominican. They will play at the Spook Rock Golf Course starting Monday, March 31st.
