"Our guys have been working really hard all year," said head coach Tyler Bishop. "Everyone is just really excited to have the opportunity to compete and play in tournaments again."

It's been a steady climb for the men's program since their inaugural trip to the regionals way back in 2012. The Ravens collected a ninth overall East Regional ranking which resulted in a three-round total of 996 (+144) at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pa.

In 2017, the Raven men pulled in a 10th spot showing in the region and made their second trip to the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional. At the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va., FPU placed 16th firing a 925 (+61). The Ravens march to the NCAA Championship came full circle last year in 2018 when Pierce's eighth slot regional ranking led to a second-place finish (890, +26) back in West Virginia. The Ravens were the clubhouse leaders following two rounds, but Roberts Wesleyan College leapfrogged FPU to take the regional title after one stroke. FPU went on to qualify for the National Championships in Alabama.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the Ravens were ranked no. 1 in the East Region heading into Regional competition. FPU tied for sixth, their second-highest finish at the Atlantic/East Regional hosted by the California University of Pennsylvania. As a team, Pierce shot 915 (+54) for the share of sixth. Last season (2019-20), due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were no regional rankings or NCAA Championship competition.

The Ravens are back in action tomorrow at the Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, N.H.
