HANOVER, N.H. (September 19, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team finished in seventh place at the Penmen Fall Invitational hosted by Northeast-10 Conference school Southern New Hampshire University this Monday and Tuesday.

The Ravens dropped one spot in the team standings after adding five strokes (291, +15) to their first round score (286, +10) to finish at 577 (+25). The host Penmen made the leap to the top spot from second place as they turned in a 555 (+3) team score. Saint Thomas Aquinas College (558, +6) and Bentley University (564, +9) rounded out the top three squads.

Sophomore Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) improved 18 spots in the individual rankings from 30th to 12th place as he knocked off two strokes from his day one showing. Foster golfed a 70 (+1) during his final 18 to finish the invite at 142 (+4).

Freshman Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) and sophomore Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) tied for 29th place as both athletes produced 36 holes totals of 145 (+7). Plis and Myers ranked within the tournament's top-five in total pars with 30 and 28 respectively. Myers took off a team-high four strokes from his first day score.

Senior Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) and Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) recorded 150 (+12) scorecards. Arisco shot a 70 (+1) on Monday, but tallied an 80 (+11) Tuesday. Donohue remained consistent from the fifth position as he golfed a 75 (+6) both days. 

The Ravens return to the course on Monday, October 2nd for the first day of the NE10 Championship at Lake Sunapee Country Club.
