Men’s Golf finishes 12th at LeMoyne Fall Preview

BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (September 12, 2015) – Sophomore Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) finished with a top score of 166 with help from a second round 77 (+5) en route to leading the Franklin Pierce University Ravens Men's Golf team to a 12th place finish at the LeMoyne Fall Preview at Timber Banks Country Club.

The par-72 course brought better rounds overall for the Ravens, as Arisco wrapped up his weekend the best out of all crimson and grey competitors by improving his previous day score by 12 strokes. Finishing one stroke behind overall was sophomore Will Pennington (Heswall, England), as he finished with a 167 overall, shooting an 81 (+9) on the day.

Tying Pennington for second-best score of the day was senior Travis Landry (Loudon, N.H.) who also shot an 81 (+9) on the round, finishing with a total of 170 for the tournament. Also shooting 170 on the tournament was fellow senior Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) who used a round of 84 (+12) on the day to get to his number. Rounding out the Ravens top five was senior Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.), as he shot an 89 (+17) on the day for a two-day total of 172 to round out his weekend.

Southern New Hampshire and LeMoyne each shared the team win for the tournament, while individually, Jose Luis Martinez from Post and Blaze Hogan from Mercyhurst shared the tournament championship.

The Ravens return to action on October 25 & 26 when they head to White River Junction, Vermont for the Division II Challenge at the Quechee Club.
