Adam Spencer shoots and 84 to tie for 26th

GRANBY, Mass. (September 26, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University golf team shot a 46-over-par, 334, on Wednesday to finish in seventh place out of 15 teams at the Elms College Invitational at the Westover Country Club in Granby, Mass.

Freshman Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) shot an eight-over, 80, to tie for 11th, while junior Adam Spencer (Jericho, Vt.) tied for 26th after carding an 84 (+12).

Sophomore Matthew Bardsley (Orange, Mass.) and freshman Jack Manning (North Reading, Mass.) each tied for 33rd as the duo carded a pair of 85's (+13). Senior Jeff Gloshinski (Worcester, Mass.) shot an 89 (+17) to place 47th.

Host-school Elms College won the invitational with a 21-over-par, 309, while Rhode Island College finished second with a 311 (+23).
