ROUND 2 TEAM SCORES

ROUND 2 INDIVIDUAL SCORES

HERSHEY, Pa. (May 8, 2012) -- Freshman C.J. Konkowski (West Chesterfield, N.H.) and junior Ian Landry (Loudon, N.H.) shot solid rounds of 76 (+5) and 77 (+6), respectively, to lead the Franklin Pierce University golf team on Tuesday afternoon in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Division II Tournament East/Atlantic Regional at the Hershey Country Club-East Course in Hershey, Pa.

After struggling with a 342 during Monday's opening round, the Ravens responded with a solid 323 (+39) during Tuesday's second round and sit in 20th place with a combined total of 665 (+97).

Team and individual standings are not official as the second round was not completed due to inclement weather which hindered Central PA throughout the entire day. Every team that tee'd off in the morning completed their second round, but the afternoon groups played just a few holes before weather suspended play at 1:26 p.m. Play did resume at 4:26 p.m., but was called shortly after 7 p.m.

The second round will be completed at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday and the third and final round will begin at approximately 11 a.m. with a shotgun start for all 20 teams.

Konkowski posted a 38 on both the front and back nine in round two. His 38 on the front was just two over par as he bogeyed just the fourth and ninth holes. Konkowski was two-over through 13, but stumbled a little down the stretch by bogeying three of the last five holes. Despite the late stumble, Konkowski's round of 76 was tied for the fourth lowest on Tuesday. He jumped from 95th to 78th in the individual standings with a two-round score of 165 (+23).

Landry birdied the fourth and eighth holes in the morning to highlight his 77. He made a large jump up the individual standings from 99th to 83rd place with a two-round total of 167 (+25).

Senior co-captain Brian Fleckles (Sandwich, Mass.) shot a 13-over-par, 84, in the second round and currently sits in 80th with a total of 166 (+24). Sophomore Adam Spencer (Jericho, Vt.) is tied with Landry for 83rd place after he shot an 86 (+15) in the second round. Senior co-captain B.J. Powers (Southbury, Conn.) is in 101st with a two-round score of 176 (+34), including a second round 86 on Tuesday.
