Greggerson medals with 76
Robert Greggerson shot a 76 to earn medalist honors at the Franklin
Pierce Invitational on Wednesday afternoon.

JAFFREY, N.H. (October 14,
2009) – Sophomore Robert Greggerson
(Seekonk, Mass.) shot a 76 on Wednesday afternoon to earn
medalist honors and lead the Franklin Pierce University golf team
to a team score of 327 and a first-place finish at the Franklin
Pierce Invitational, at the Shattuck Golf Club.
Behind Greggerson for Franklin Pierce, sophomore William
Powers (Southbury, Conn.) shot an 82, junior
Justin Haapala (Danielson, Conn.) fired an 83 and
sophomore Brian Fleckles (Sandwich, Mass.) shot an
86 to round out the scoring. Also carding 82s in the event for the
Ravens were senior Peter Panopoulos (Rindge, N.H.)
and senior Brandon Weiner (Marlboro, N.J.), though
their scores did not count towards the team total.
The Ravens captured the team championship by 111 strokes over Green
Mountain, which put together a team score of 438. The Eagles were
led by junior Matt Tarricone, who fired a 98. Behind him were
sophomore Kevin Keating and Micaiah Wronkoski, who each shot a 113,
and seniors Kenneth Enman and William Welch, who each carded a
114.
The Ravens return to the course on Oct. 19-20 for the New England
Intercollegiate Golf Championship at Captains Golf Course in
Brewster, Mass.
