MARCELLUS, N.Y.  (September 27, 2004) - After one of the best single-day performances in program history, the Franklin Pierce men's golf team struggled on day two and placed tenth at the 2004 Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Links at Sunset Ridge on Sunday.

Franklin Pierce was sixth after posting a 317 team score on day one Saturday, but posted a 351 total on Sunday to fall to tenth place among the 13 teams competing at the event with a 668 two-day total. Bryant College claimed its 19th NE-10 Championship with a 597 team total, finishing 20 strokes ahead of host Le Moyne College for second place.
