Franklin Pierce Finishes Fourth at Saint Anselm Invitational
Aaron Nackoul scores an 80 to earn a fourth place finish
GOFFSTOWN, N.H. (October 5, 2001) -- The Franklin Pierce men's golf team placed fourth out of five teams with a team score of 365 at the Saint Anselm Invitational on Friday.
Franklin Pierce's Aaron Nackoul (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) led the Ravens with his score of 80, good for fourth among a field of 25 golfers. Paul Izzi (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) finished with a score of 93, while teammate Nick Matulonis (Springfield, Vt./Springfield) followed close behind with a 94.
Sophomore Alex Hodgeman (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) rounded out the group with his score of 98, while classmate Chris DeGeorge (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) finished the afternoon with a score of 101.
